A volunteer is a person who provides help to the association on an ad-hoc basis. The help can be in one of many activities such as cooking, electrical installations, plumbing, gardening, helping the assistants, helping in the workshops, or any other way.
An assistant is a person who supports mentally challenged persons in their everyday life. This includes cooking, household maintenance, personal care, entertainment, gardening, workshop activity, or other.
Assistants can get involved in community life in various ways and for varying periods.
They can join us just for a year, or may want to commit themselves for much longer. The role can involve sharing the life of the home, or taking on leadership.
An assistant can be a full-time employee or a part-time volunteer.
A friend of Baitna is a person who helps the association in its mission by spreading the news about its activity, by helping to promote its events or by committing to a regular contribution, no matter how small.
An active voting member of Baitna is a person who participates in its activities, in particular by joining one of the several specialized committees or helping as a support worker. A voting member elects members of the Board of Directors, approves the yearly statement of accounts and the budget, discusses the activities of the Association and makes suggestions.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you feel capable and willing to lend a hand in one of the domains listed in the Domain of Activity field below. The terms of reference of these committees are available on request.
