In Baïtna, mentally challenged persons are taken care of by committed support workers who share with the residents’ life and daytime activities (household responsibilities, productive work in the workshops, entertainment and events) in homes having family-like settings that are integrated into local neighborhoods.
They support each other in adversity and difficulties and times of illness. They share prayers, hopes and joys, sorrows and weaknesses, and build deep friendships and strong relations with each other. They will, thus, make up one family and live a life filled with a partnership of trust, love and respect.
Our Fanar building is designed to accommodate four communities composed of up to ten residents and four support workers each.
